There is always something happening at Glenwood:

Change of plans: Swim Team Banquet at the Pool tomorrow

The pool will close at 5:00pm tonight (Friday July 30) for the Swim Team Banquet.

We apologize heartily for this inconvenience.

The facility at which the event is traditionally held, the nearby Knights of Columbus Hall, has not been able to get full power restored all week and confirmed yesterday at noon that it could not accommodate tonight's banquet, which has been reserved for many months now.

Annual Crab Feast

Join us at Glenwood on Saturday July 31 at 6:00 pm for the annual Crab Feast! Tickets available at the Manager's office, $35 for all you-can-eat crabs, $25 for chicken and sides. We need some helpers for shopping and set-up, too -- contact us at board@glenwoodpool.org.

Welcome to Glenwood Recreation Club's website. Glenwood Pool is a community swim club that is set back among the trees and along a creek in historic Forest Glen, Maryland. We love our pool and invite you to join us! It's still the best deal in town.

Pool Hours

  • Weekdays 11:30 am to 9:00 pm
  • Weekends 10:00 am to 9:00 pm
Exceptions:
  • Friday July 30 - Pool closes at 5pm for Swim Team Banquet
  • Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:30am - 1pm: main pool closed for group lessons. Baby pool, dive well, and lap lanes open.
  • Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30pm - 7pm: no lap lanes and limited dive well access
  • June 23, June 30, and July 7, July 14 4:45pm - 9pm: pool closed for swim meet
  • June 12, June 26, July 3, July 17, and July 24: pool opens at noon
