Looking for summertime athletic fun in the pool? Tired of the monotony that is swimming? Join Glenwood's dive team for a great time! We're pleased to welcome back our coaches, experienced Glenwood divers who know the sport, the team, and the pool inside out...and make it all the way to the bottom of the deep end!

We're a growing team and are always looking for new faces and new people to teach the joys of diving. If you haven't been part of this before, come and join! If you have, and you've left, come back! We miss you!

It's okay to be on both swim and dive teams. We work out practices so that you can do both.

• Head Coach: Sandra Holmberg - Sandra returns for her second year as Head Dive Coach. Her enthusiasm and experience inspire our divers to reach new heights. Sandra is the dive coach at Einstein HS as well as an ESOL teacher there. We are thrilled to have her back.

Dive team parents: we need your help! It takes at least 10 volunteers from each team to run a dive meet! Please look for the volunteer sheet when you sign your child up, and do what you can to help; from judging to working the table to refereeing or announcing, do what you can!

2007 Practice Schedule:

Until school is out, practices will be held after school Monday through Friday.  The times are
3:30-4:15
4:15-5:00
5:00-5:45
Check with the coaches to see which practice time has space.

Once school is out those times will remain the same for those who cannot make morning practices.  Evening practices will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings during the summer. Morning dive practices will start on Friday, June 15th, the day after school gets out.

Morning practices:
11-12 year olds                                8:00-9:00AM
13 and older                                   9:00-10:00AM
8 year olds and younger                  10:00-10:45AM
9-10 year olds                                11:00-11:45AM
