Glenwood Needs You!

/in

Your help is needed for two Glenwood events:

First, the annual fundraising swim marathon we call Swim for Tim begins this Saturday 7/16 at noon and runs for 24 hours. We need your help to:

  • Register swimmers as they arrive to swim,
  • Count the swimmers’ laps as they swim,
  • Help with our Sunday Morning breakfast for our teenagers who stay and “swim” the night away

Funds raised during Swim for Tim support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund.  In the seven years we’ve been doing this, we’ve raised almost $52,000!

Please email Mary Margaret Hathaway ([email protected]) and copy Steve Schrier ([email protected]) to help!

One week later is the annual Glenwood Crab Feast, the social event of the season. Help is needed in the planning and preparations for the July 23 all-you-can-eat feast, which will begin at 6:00 pm and go until the crabs run out.
